We provide optimal facilities for both Japanese and overseas manufacturers of plastic-resin materials, films, and non-woven fabrics, in line with their requirements.

We have also built up formidable results and been highly-acclaimed for delivering equipment to overseas locations for customers expanding their business affairs abroad, which is becoming more common in recent years, and for providing installation support and after-care services for this equipment.

For customers involved in the fields of plastic materials, films, and sheets, we offer single-screw and twin-screw extruders, granulation equipment, coating systems, conversion systems and other related equipment made by Japanese and overseas manufacturers.

For example, we offer equipment made by European manufacturers in mainly Germany and France—two countries renowned for their advanced technologies—to customers considering developing and manufacturing value-added compounds, battery films, high-function films for 5G-related products, mono-materials, food-packaging materials, carbon fiber composite materials, and other components. We also actively introduce customers who wish to reduce fixed costs to inexpensive Taiwanese products that have been praised for their technological excellence and boast proven results.

• For customers in the field of non-woven fabrics who are considering spunbond and meltblow devices for producing various types of industrial materials including hygienic materials, civil engineering materials and medical materials, we supply spinning machines with the world’s highest standards manufactured by Reifenhäuser Reicofil of Germany, for which we operate as the general agency, and high-speed winders, slitters and rewinders manufactured by A.Celli of Italy.

  In addition to the above, we are also able to provide other processing devices that are used from the upstream to downstream stages of production, such as spun-lace, air-through and other facilities related to a wide range of non-woven fabrics, and we have also established a system in which we are able to propose secondary processing devices, such as laminators and applicators, as well as packing facilities and automated facilities, in alignment with customer requirements.

• Today, many companies are already engaged in initiatives for reducing greenhouse gases (GHGs) and procuring clean energy by 2030, with the goal of realizing a carbon-neutral society. To support these initiatives, for customers in Japan and overseas we deliver and provide both installation support and aftersales services for waste plastic and recycling plant machinery capable of the 3Rs of “recycle,” “reuse,” and “reduce.” We boast a rich track record of success in this field and, as such, we are highly valued by our customers.

  In particular, we boast an overwhelming share of the market for PET bottle recycling cleaning lines.Currently, we are not limited to beverage bottle recycling, and are expanding our proposed applications to include toiletry bottle and cap recycling.

  We also offer sought-after technologies for the removal of film coating materials, which enable the recycling of mold release films for multilayer ceramic capacitors (MLCCs) and other converting films.

  In recent years, our range of Japanese and overseas plants and facilities capable of generating biogas, syngas, hydrogen, and other forms of energy from waste and sludge have attracted interest from our customers, too.

• The Japanese market for pharmaceutical machinery is projected to continue to enjoy stable growth. As such, we have become the exclusive Japanese agent for GEA Pharma & Healthcare, one of the five largest pharmaceutical machinery companies in the world and the de facto standard for continuous manufacturing facilities. Leveraging our tie-ups with GEA Pharma & Healthcare and other companies, we are able to offer total solutions for pharma equipment, including both sales and aftersales services, and we are working to establish a position as a leading player in the industry.

  For Indian and other emerging markets expected to undergo further expansion, we sell artificial hollow fiber dialyzers made in Europe, as well as a range of Japanese medical equipment. We are in this way actively expanding our healthcare business both in Japan and overseas.

• In the field of semiconductors, today advanced nations are advancing carbon-free policies, 5G markets are expanding, and automobiles are becoming increasingly electrified. For this reason, we have adopted initiatives aimed at the market for power semiconductors—which are continuing to enjoy a period of expansion—photonics communication devices, advanced semiconductor package substrates, and other high value-added semiconductors.

  The Division is involved in the sale of all types of manufacturing units, covering pre-processing through to post-processing, to domestic and overseas manufacturers that produce these products, as well as materials used in the production of semiconductors, such as gallium oxide (Ga2O3) wafers that are attracting attention as next-generation components for use in power semiconductors. We place a particular focus on equipment and materials manufactured in Korea.

  We are a distributor for Hanmi Semiconductor—a leading Korean manufacturer of semiconductor production equipment with a large share of the global market, for visual inspection equipment maker ATI, and for Taesung—a manufacturer of wet process equipment for packaging substrates, and we work to sell their products to Japanese companies.

  In addition, we are actively expanding sales in the Chinese market for popular 5G-related technologies, manufacturing equipment for producing micro-OLED displays, which serve as core components of augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) products, and raw materials, including those used in consumable parts.

• Working primarily with leading European suppliers, we offer a wide range of equipment for the agriculture, food production, and beverage industries. In the agricultural field, we offer a diverse lineup of products, including storage, grading, mainly for root crops. In the field of food production, we offer a wide range of Kiremko products for root vegetables, including steam peelers, blanchers, steamers, and slicers. In the field of beverages, we provide total solutions based on ACMI products, such as PET blow molding, filling, labeling, and packaging machines. In addition to the above products, we also offer a range of unique equipment, such as dry lubrication systems for the transportation of PET bottles, form-fill-seal (FFS) machines, sterilization systems, cheese production machines, biscuit ovens, candy equipment, pasta production plants, and broccoli cutters. We also handle various machines of manufacturers in Japan. We provide not only equipment but also contracting services for installation work and construction.

• At Sojitz Machinery, we propose logistics automation and labor-saving solution that cater to the workplace demands and issues of our customers.

  We propose optimal solutions for all manner of processes—from warehousing to delivery—used by major e-commerce companies, logistics warehouses, and the food and manufacturing industries. To this end, we work with Japanese and overseas manufacturers and systems integrators to offer Chinese-made 3D sorters, AMRs, palletizing and depalletizing systems, and automated warehouses, as well as European omnidirectional conveyors.

• We import and sell high performance forestry machines, including harvesters and processors, which provide a number of benefits, such as increasing productivity of forestry, enhancing safety, and reducing manpower. Through these efforts, we have a track record of more than 30 years in the field of forestry. We provide a wide range of products , such as felling, logging, loading, carrying, wood crushing, and wood chipping to forestry associations and forestry related companies in Japan.

We are working to solidify our position as the industry leader by offering all-inclusive solutions, including forestry related parts and components.
